The Education takes a holistic approach. They pay attention to children’s physical, personal, social, emotional and spiritual well being as well as cognitive aspects of learning. An integrated holistic approach is adopted in teaching and hearing which focuses on connection to the natural world. The teacher is seen less as a person of authority who leads and controls but rather is seen as a friend, a mentor, a facilitator and an experience role model for children. The curriculum is action packed with literary activities, physical exercise, hobby pursuits including fine arts, sports and games, spiritual chants and yoga in addition to routine class schedule. The medium of instruction is English with syllabi adopted from the Central Board of Secondary Education.
Our teaching methodologies incorporate the best of various systems, from ancient traditions like outdoor learning to the most modern experiential learning approaches.
Connecting knowledge to life outside the school, ensuring that learning is shifted away from rote methods, enriching the curriculum to provide for overall development of children rather than remain textbook centric, making examinations more flexible and integrated into classroom life and, nurturing an over-riding identity informed by caring concerns within the democratic polity of the country.
The sources of learning are varied - reading, field trips, observations, discussions, debates, presentations and hands-on experiences. Our CBSE curricular standards create a collaborative work environment that nurture intellectual diversity and prepare students for some of the best institutions of higher learning.
The tasks our students do in class incorporate the Multiple Intelligences- Verbal, Mathematical, Visual Spatial, Kinesthetic, Interpersonal, Musical, Naturalist and or Existential.
Our teachers provide effective help to the students when they face difficulty.
